Jenny Catt Slattery (Fianna Fáil)
Jenny Catt Slattery is a Fianna Fáil candidate who was born and bred in Mullinavat in the heart of South Kilkenny.
She lives in the village with her husband Adrian and two of their three children. Their eldest daughter is currently travelling.
Jenny works as a Special Needs Assistant (SNA) at Kilkenny City Vocational School in the ASD unit.
Her role involves supporting students with autism spectrum disorders, ensuring they have access to an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
This work has underscored the importance of compassion, patience, and dedication in fostering a community where everyone can thrive.
Over the past few weeks of canvassing, Jenny said that she has had the privilege of meeting many of you.
“Engaging with residents and hearing your concerns and aspirations has been a deeply rewarding experience,” she said.
“These interactions have reinforced my commitment to working tirelessly for our rural community, addressing both its unique challenges and opportunities.
“I am incredibly grateful for the unwavering support from retired MEP and TD Liam Aylward and his family.”
Jenny stated that her objectives as a councillor would include promoting inclusive education, enhancing community development and ensuring that all residents’ voices are heard and respected.
