TAP '>' FOR NEXT PILTOWN LEA CANDIDATE
Damien Donoghue (Fine Gael)
Damien Donoghue has lived in Ferrybank for the last eight years with his wife and young family of three.
He worked in hospitality for over 20 years holding top management roles and says that he knows the struggles hospitality can have especially in businesses like pubs and cafés.
He recently qualified in special needs teaching and is involved in the local community, such as with the local GAA club, soccer club, and community group.
He is also the chairperson of his large housing estate where he manages the estate.
So far, Damien stated that he has communicated with all of the issues and developments within Ferrybank and surrounding areas.
He adds that he has solved the flooding issues in Fountain Street that have been an issue for decades by highlighting this with Waterford Council and with continuous pressure.
He also says that he has already helped many individuals and families in the area with their own personal issues.
“But there is more to be done,” he said.
“I have also met people in Slieverue, Drumdowney, Belview and Strangmills areas and I want you to know that if I am elected you will not be forgotten about.
“I will only promise one thing to everyone and it is this - whatever issue you raise with me, it will be delivered and the answer will come back to you.
“Finally, I want the people of Ferrybank to know that I am the only candidate running in the Ferrybank area and I need your vote.”
