Speaking on the podcast this week, Daly stated: "It's (the mood) probably down a bit from the last couple of years, the Munster Final again has people wondering where we're at, we lost the three Munster Finals, are we going to lose the three semi-finals? So, there's an element of that, there's an element of optimism as well, we're coming close to a full panel, Tony Kelly our tallysman for years is coming back to form so if we play at our very best we could get a result but there's great respect for this Kilkenny team as well I have to say."
"I suppose the monster in the room is Limerick, everyone is saying do we want to get in and be beaten by them again but no, of course for all Clare people we've been in very All-Ireland Finals so we'd absolutely give anything to be in the final," he added.
