REVEALED: How does Kilkenny compare to other counties on tax rebates

Analysis on personal tax return data for 2023 reveals that Kilkenny ranks ninth for tax rebate in Ireland.

Dublin emerged as the county with the highest average tax rebate per person in Ireland. The data, compares all Irish counties and highlights the variations in tax returns and rebates across the country. The aim of the research is to shed light on tax returns in Ireland and provide expert insights on the implications of these figures. 

Irish Tax Rebate’s data for 2023 reveals that Dublin tops the list with an average rebate of €583.59 per person. This is followed by Cavan and Laois, with average rebates of €561.22 and €552.57, respectively. The data showcases a wide range of rebate amounts, reflecting the diverse economic activities and income levels across different regions. 

Counties such as Roscommon (€544.42), Mayo (€541.41), and Donegal (€539.50) also featured prominently, indicating substantial average rebates per person. On the other hand, counties like Wexford (€470.74) and Leitrim (€426.18) recorded some of the lowest average rebates, highlighting the economic disparities within the country.
