It's been a busy few days for Kilkenny handballers at the World Wallball Championships

Kilkenny handballers reach global heights at World Championships

Under 17 Wall Ball Doubles World Championship Champions: Kilkenny's Anthony Clifford played alongside Gavin Kelly (Galway) to win 21-20 21-13 over a Cork/Tyrone partnership.

Doyle Representation: It was a day of mixed emotions for the Doyle family with one gold and two silver returning to Windgap.

First up Jack contested the Men's A Singles Final against a tough American opponent and after picking up two huge victories in the quarter and semi finals, the Kilkenny player lost out in two straight games 21-13 21-13.

Meanwhile, Shane reached the semi-final of the Boys Under 15 Singles partnering up with Bertie Donohoe (Galway) to win the Boys Under 15 Doubles title, defeating a Longford pairing in the final.
Conor lost out in the Boys Under 19 Doubles Final alongside Conor Hession as a strong Armagh/Cork pairing prevailed.
Ladies Wall Ball World Open Doubles: Ciara Mahon (Clogh) and her partner Fiona Tully (St Coman's, Roscommon) on defeated the USA team in the Final. 
Girls Under 17 Doubles Wall Ball Champions: Emer Barron (Windgap) and Una Duggan (Galmoy) won the title 21-20 21-20 in the University of Limerick.
Boys Under 19 Wall Ball Singles World Champion: Kyle Jordan took the title 11-9 in a tie breaker holding his nerve brilliantly to close out the game.
Girls Under 15 Wall Ball World Doubles: Niamh Drennan (Galmoy) who teamed up with Boo Murphy (Wexford) to win the title in University of Limerick 21-17 21-17.
