Gardai in Thomastown are appealing to the public for information following a burglary in Co Kilkenny at lunchtime today (Wednesday).
A number of masked men (three/four) broken into a house shortly at 1pm at Danesfort.
The gang left the scene in a black Volkswagon GTI travelling at speed towards Bennettsbridge and then onto Goresbridge where they were seen driving at speed at approximately 1.30pm travelling in the direction of Borris/Bagenelstown.
Anyone who saw the vehicle or who has dashcam footage is asked to contact gardai in Thomastown on (056) 7754150.
