Ireland’s international stage cycle race Rás na mBan will be broadcast on RTÉ Two this morning (Saturday).
The half hour highlights programme to be shown at 11.30am and will feature action from the 18th edition of Rás na mBan based in Kilkenny and surrounding counties as 22 teams of five riders from 13 nations did battle over six stages and five days for the coveted race leader’s magenta jersey.

The overall winner was Ireland’s Olympic star and local rider Mia Griffin while her DAS Hutchinson Brother UK teammate and Irish under 23 road race champion Caoimhe O’Brien featured among the stage winners in the event which concluded at Kilkenny Castle last Sunday.
The highlights show will also be available on the RTÉ Player from Sunday.
