Kilkenny councillor 'delighted' as community group receive huge funding boost!

Local Fianna Fáil representative, Cllr Pat Fitzpatrick has welcomed funding of €148,679 for Kilkenny clubs and organisations.

Groups in Windgap, Kilmanagh and Ballyouskill will all benefit from the grant funding as part of the CLÁR Programme. - READ MORE HERE 

The North Kilkenny councillor welcomed the funding, describing it as 'important for communities'.

Among the recipients of the funding were the Ballyouskill Development Association who received €36,641 for the upgrade of their community facilities including the resurfacing of their carpark.

Cllr Fitzpatrick told Kilkenny Live he was 'delighted' to assist in their funding application and see such a 'vital local service' receive government support.
