Brazilian native Renan Monteiro was a welcome a surprise visitor at the recent Windgap GAA concert in St Canice’s Cathedral.
Renan who has been a fan of Orla Fallon since his school days in Brazil had promised his partner they would visit Ireland for the first time for an Órla Fallon concert. When they heard about the club’s fundraiser they flew in from Italy to see Orla live.

They also won a free three course meal from the Pembroke Hotel who were sponsoring the event. After a memorable weekend’s trip they look forward to coming back to Kilkenny and maybe even Windgap in the future
