Karen Duggan won 35 international caps for the Republic of Ireland
Piltown senior camogie player Karen Duggan has hailed her club's supporters after the club were crowned Michael Lyng Motors Senior Camogie County Champions for the very first time on Sunday, beating defending champions Dicksboro 3-11 to 0-14.
"I don't think I've ever experienced anything like it, you could hear everyone's mams and dads in the crowd and that's what gave you a lift when you needed it because we could have easily gone into ourselves in the second half against the wind," Duggan told the Kilkenny People Sport Podcast, adding, "they were cheering every sideline, every tackle, every free like everything meant something."
