captured in a glance at art.
"My work revolves around an admiration of the human body, an admiration for its silent expression and its simultaneous flaws and perfection. Abstract images allow me to explore a wide variety of complex, and subtle emotion. In this instance portraits expresses the physicality of emotion. Each stroke is an expression of a feeling, wistful, hopeful gentle and slight. Or alternatively anger passion, fear, course and rough. The colours and depth of marking intend to evoke feelings from the observer similar to my own," she said.
"I try to work impulsively, thoughtlessly and honestly free from romanticism and cliche. My passion for painting came when I studied at Grennan Mill Craft School and followed up after this by doing a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Painting at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
