James Stephens U21 manager Paddy Butler believes the Village will need to continue their trend of improving from game to game if they're to beat Dicksboro in the JJ Kavanagh & Sons U21 A County Final.
The city teams clash in UPMC Nowlan Park at 1.30pm on Sunday with the 'Boro looking to retain the title after beating Thomastown in last year's final.
"It's going to be a challenge, we know how good this 'Boro team is, they're undefeated at U14, U16 and minor levels and the core players are still there," Butler told the Kilkenny People Sport Podcast.
"It's going to be a tough ask but in all fairness to our lads, we're improved from the Gowran match into the Graigue Ballycallan but again we're going to need to show more improvement again if we're going to get over the line Sunday."
