A stellar performance by classical violinist Hilda O'Mahony and pianist Máire Carroll took place on Sunday evening at St. John's Priory at the debut concert of enVELop.
In an effort to draw a wider audience to classical music concerts, enVELop, created by Hilda O Mahony, presents the audience with a fusion of classical music and live, interactive visuals. The concert will feature violin/piano works by Phillip Glass, Arvo Pärt, Max Richter, Ludovicio Einduani, Bela Bartók and Valentin Silvestrov. Live visual projections on the night by visual artist Qpop illuminated the walls of Kilkenny's stunning venue.
