BREAKING: Final two seats filled in Carlow-Kilkenny

Carlow-Kilkenny

Jennifer Murnane O'Connor (Fianna Fáil) and Natasha Newsome Drennan (Sinn Féin) have taken the final two seats in Carlow-Kilkenny after the sixteenth count.

They will be joined by John McGuinness (Fianna Fáil), Catherine Callaghan (Fine Gael) and Peter 'Chap' Cleere (Fianna Fáil) in Dáil Éireann.

Both Murnane O'Connor and Newsome Drennan were deemed elected despite not reaching the quota following the elimination of Sinn Féin candidate Áine Gladney Knox.
