Multiple major roads to close in Kilkenny City for Medieval Mile Run

Kilkenny County Council has notified the public that there will be a number of roads closed in Kilkenny City on Friday, 6 December due to the Medieval Mile Run.
Some of the roads that will be closed include the Castlecomer Road inbound (from Entrance to Army Barracks to junction with Ballybought Street), Central Access Scheme, St. Canice's Place, Dean Street and Vicar Street.
In addition to these, Irishtown, Parliament Street, High Street, The Parade, Castle Road and Patrick Street (from The Parade to Ormonde Road) will also be closed off.
The roads will be closed off from 6:30pm to 8:30pm to facilitate the run.
Local access will be possible, except from when the race is passing.
