Decorated Kilkenny camogie player Grace Walsh and Wexford senior hurler Jack O'Connor have confirmed their engagement, sharing the news with their followers on social media.
Posting to Instagram, a post from Walsh simply read, "12.9.2024" with a picture of the happy couple together with an engagement ring on Grace's finger.

O'Connor, from the St Martin's club in Wexford has been a member of the county's intercounty panel since 2014, while the Tullaroan clubwoman made her Kilkenny debut in 2011 winning All-Ireland titles; in 2016, 2020 and 2022 to her name and is understood to be stepping away from the panel for now at least.
"She’s (Grace) has been an incredible servant and ambassador to Kilkenny camogie for over a decade and a massive leader on and off the pitch. The Walsh family name is synonymous with GAA and Grace and her brothers and the entire family have given great service to Kilkenny hurling and camogie over decades," former Kilkenny camogie manager, Peter 'Chap' Cleere said when news of her possible retirement was first touted earlier this year.
