t Kieran's College Transition Year students; Anan Jalali, Ruairí Hanrahan, Alex O'Donoghue and Jack O'Reilly are one of a number of groups representing Kilkenny with pride at the BT Young Scientist Exhibition in the RDS this week.

The local students are exhibiting their projects on healthy eating and the effects of energy drinks on sleep.
As part of their busy week, the group had the opportunity to demonstrate their project to a number of people at the exhibition, none more so than President of Ireland, Michael D Higgins and his wife, Sabina.
