St Lachtain's will be looking to round off a successful 2024/25 campaign on Sunday, when they face Russell Rovers (Cork) in the AIB All-Ireland Junior Hurling Final in Croke Park.
The Freshford men hold fond memories All-Ireland Finals, having won the intermediate equivalent in 2010, with current manager Steven Farrell and club stalwart Brian Kennedy both featuring.
The Cork champions are no stranger to the showpiece occasion either, with 11 of the current panel lining out against Conahy Shamrocks at the same stage in 2020.
"They're a very good hurling team, something similar to ourselves, the way they hurl and do things so I'm sure it's going to be a fantastic game," Farrell told the Kilkenny People Sport Podcast, warning of a 'massive test'.
