It was a memorable day in Croke Park for St Lachtain’s and for Kilkenny GAA last Sunday as the Freshford men overcame their opponents, Russell Rovers of Cork, to claim the AIB All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling title on a 1-18 to 0-16 scoreline.
