A section of the Bleach Road on the outskirts of Kilkenny City is now flooded.
"Exercise extreme caution and avoid this area where possible," said a spokesperson for Kilkenny County Council.
This update comes following a morning and afternoon of disruptive weather brought by Storm Éowyn.

Kilkenny County Council’s roads crews and Fire Services have been actively responding since during the morning and early afternoon to address the aftermath of Storm Éowyn.
"We extend our thanks to everyone for their hard work under challenging conditions, and to the members of An Garda Síochána for their assistance and cooperation," the local authority stated.
"Our emergency crews will address any outstanding issues before being stood down. The remaining cleanup efforts will continue over the next few days.
"The Severe Weather Helpline will cease operations at 5pm this evening and will not be available tomorrow, Saturday, January 25.
"The Council’s Out of Hours Number, 0818 399 399, will be operational from 5pm this evening onwards.
"We would like to thank the public for their cooperation during this challenging weather event."
