"It's just scandalous" - Kilkenny town battling dog poo dilemma

Graignamanagh Tidy Towns have ten new signs that will be put up around the town

Graignamanagh Tidy Towns have taken to social media to highlight the fact that they 'have received a number of complaints regarding the amount of dog poo in the town'.

"We have ten new signs that will go up around the town in the coming days," they stated.

"We again ask all dog walkers to please pick up after your dog, it’s your responsibility as it is your dog.

"Please bag it and bin it."

Reacing to the post, one user stated: "Speaking as a dog owner, I always pick up. But it baffles me how a dog owner leaves a pile that's hard for people to walk in, especially if it's a big dog the bigger the pile. Yes, on occasion, a dog may have an upset tummy like us humans and it's impossible to pick up. But to leave a normal bowl movement, it baffles me."

Another posted: "Especially with all the free bags available it's just scandalous!"
