BREAKING: Lyng makes noticeable changes as Kilkenny prepare to travel to Wexford

Kilkenny manager, Derek Lyng

Kilkenny senior hurling manager, Derek Lyng has given Harry Shine, Stephen Donnelly and Killian Doyle their first competitive starting places of 2025 as the Cats make the trip to take on Wexford in round three of the Allianz Hurling League on Saturday evening.

After an opening round win against Clare in Cusack Park, Lyng's men were brought back down to earth last Sunday, falling to defeat against a much-improved Galway side in UPMC Nowlan Park.

Kilkenny are one of seven counties in Division 1A alongside; Clare, Wexford, Galway, Cork, Limerick and Tipperary. The top two teams in the division will face off in the league final and the bottom two will be automatically relegated.
