The late Mike O'Brien with Phil Coulter
The funeral details for the late Mike O'Brien have been confirmed.
The former Kilkenny radio broadcaster, passed away late last week and was a popular, trust-worthy and at times comforting voice for local listeners for over four decades, hosting a wide range of programmes on KCR, Radio Kilkenny and Community Radio Kilkenny City (CRKC).
In latter years, the Kilkenny man presented 'Live at Lunchtime' each Friday until a recent period of ill-health, where station colleague Con Moloney entertained his predecessor's many listeners. - READ MORE HERE

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS: Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11am, in St Canice's Church followed by interment in St Kieran's Cemetery.
