A brand new 'Community Drum Circle' will be held in the Essie May Aromatherapy Studio, Kieran’s Street, Kilkenny City on Friday, February 21 from 7-9pm.
Attendees will learn the parts of a polyrhythm, which is a style of drumming used by many traditions around the world since time immemorial.

Polyrhythm is where two or more rhythms are played simultaneously. Most of the rhythms we will be based in the rich music of West Africa and its descendants in Latin America. Every week is self-contained and beginner friendly.
