Kilkenny to welcome five American bands to perform for St Patrick's Day Festival

Fireworks will once again light up Kilkenny skies for the St Patrick's Festival

Five American marching bands and one USA concert band will visit the Marble City for St Patrick's Festival Kilkenny 2025, as part of the City’s free entertainment programme.

Kilkenny is the only county outside the Capital to attract a record number of American marching bands as part of its municipal celebration of Ireland's national holiday. Festival organisers expect to welcome 100,000 tourists across the bank holiday weekend.

Visitors can expect high-octane, vibrant performances to fill the streets with the sounds of brass, percussion, and woodwinds, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for all to enjoy.
