There was heartbreak for the Kilkenny & District League on Sunday as they fell to a heartbreaking loss away to Limerick after extra-time.
"I'm extremely proud of the group for what they've achieved and done this year," manager Gary Maher told the Kilkenny People Sport Podcast.
"I'm just heartbroken," Maher said, adding, "we probably deserved a penalty shootout if not more."
"For the effort the lads have put into it, they probably haven't got the rewards out of it they deserved."
