ALERT: Deadline looming to have your say on exciting new developments in Kilkenny

Under funding from the Community Recognition Fund, a contractor has been appointed to carry out remedial works on the walls from Knocktopher to Ballyhale, with the works due to begin in March subject to approval.

Meanwhile, the proposed installation of speed ramps on the Stoneyford and motorway approaches to Knocktopher as well as potential works on a pedestrian crossing in the area have also been put forward for a 'Section 38 process' by Kilkenny County Council.

The clock is ticking though, as members of the public have until just today (Friday) at 4pm to put forward submissions online HERE or in writing marked 'Knocktopher Traffic Calming Scheme 2025' to Kilkenny County Council.
