Kilkenny cousins clash in hotly contested local GAA fixture

A storming second half by Erin’s Own which featured an eight-point turnaround was the highlight as the boys in blue overcame neighbours Railyard at a bitterly cold Ballycomey on Sunday morning.

Adding spice to the intriguing contest in this Under-14 Roinn C football clash was that a pair of first cousins featured on opposite sides.

The Renwicks were to the fore with Ethan and Dylan impressing for the winners while not to be outdone Tadhg and Terry were prominent scorers for Railyard.

In a fiercely competitive game, Erin’s Own ran out winners on a 3-10 to 4-3 scoreline.
