Passed away on Sunday, 30th March, surrounded by her loving family, in the care of the staff at Hillview Nursing Home, Carlow.
Predeceased by her husband Bill, daughter Anne, her sons-in-law Michael Hughes and Dodie O'Neill
Loved forever by her son Chris, daughters Nora, Tricia, Catherine and Geraldine, daughter-in-law Eileen, and sons-in-law Davy, Martin and Tommy, her adored grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the Residence of her daughter Geraldine, (Loon, Castlecomer R95 HH7X) on Tuesday, 1st April from 2pm with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 8pm.
Removal from Geraldine's residence on Wednesday, arriving at St. Patrick's Church, Clogh for Requiem Mass at 12 Noon. Una will be laid to rest thereafter in the Crosshill Cemetery, Castlecomer.
Beryl Butler (née Lonergan)
Abbey Grove, Ferrybank, Co. Kilkenny
Beryl passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home.
Predeceased by her parents Jimmy & Bridie Lonergan, her sisters, Mary (Shanahan) and Anne (Power)
Sadly missed by her devoted husband Eddie, her daughters Gillian and Grace, sons-in-law, Karl and Patrick, beloved grandchildren, Lorcan, Ryan and Katie, sister Frances, sister-in-law Ann, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May she Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Thompsons Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford on Tuesday (1st April) from 7pm to 8.30pm with vigil prayers and rosary at 8pm.
Requiem Mass on arrival at 11:00am Wednesday (2nd April) in St. Kevin’s Church, Carrigeen, Co. Kilkenny, followed by private cremation.
No flowers please, donations if desired to South East Palliative Care.

Bayswell, Crosspatrick, Co. Kilkenny
Died peacefully in The Oak Ward, University Hospital Waterford in the presence of her loving family. Predeceased by her dad Seamus.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her heartbroken husband Robert, her adored children Keith and Anne-Marie, her mother Josephine, grandchildren Jamie, Teegan, Darragh and Maisie, son-in-law Paddy, daughter-in-law Orla, brother Stephen, sisters Mary, Linda, Lorraine and Emma, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at St. Michael's Church Crosspatrick on Wednesday April 2nd 2025 from 4 o'clock until 7 o'clock. Removal from her residence on Thursday morning to St. Kieran's Church Johnstown arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 o'clock. Cremation takes place afterwards in The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co Cork at three o'clock.

Jerry Harrington
Gour, Castletownbere, Cork / Mooncoin, Kilkenny
Jerry passed away peacefully on Monday (March 31, 2025) in the exceptional care of the staff in University Hospital Waterford surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Julia, his siblings Mary Joe, Frank, Jim and Johnny.
Beloved brother of Theresa, Vince, Brendan and Sheila. Jerry will be sadly missed by his loving family, his sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends.

Reposing on Tuesday (1st of April 2025) at his residence in Mooncoin, County Kilkenny from 7:30pm until 9:00pm. Reposing on Wednesday (2nd of April 2025) at Harrington’s Funeral Home Castletownbere County Cork from 5:00pm until 7:00pm followed by removal to The Church Of The Sacred Heart, Castletownbere. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11:00am followed by burial in St.Mary's Cemetery in Droum. Family flowers only please.
John Phelan
Pearse Street, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny
John Phelan (retired 30th Battalion James Stephens Barracks Kilkenny) Pearse Street, Kilkenny City died peacefully on 31st March 2025 in the wonderful care of all the staff in the Barrow Ward, St. Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny, surrounded by his loving and devoted family.
Predeceased by his parents Kieran and Ellen and his brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted by his son Mark, brothers Tommy, Christy, Seamus and Paschal and his adored grandchild Cathal.
John will be forever missed by his sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, good neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

John will be reposing in Shasby’s Funeral Home, Kilkenny City on Wednesday 2nd (April) from 5pm to 7pm with rosary and vigil prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Canice’s Church on Thursday 3rd (April) at 11am followed by burial in St. Kieran’s Cemetery.

John’s family would like to thank all the staff in the Kilkenny Care Centre, Newpark for their care and attention to John during his stay there.
The funeral cortege will walk from John’s residence on the 3rd (April) at 10.40am to St. Canice’s Church and onwards to St. Kieran’s Cemetery.
