Kilkenny County Council has advised that road closures will be in place to facilitate the Streets of Kilkenny 5K Road Race taking place on Thursday, April 17.
Access to Kilkenny City centre will be restricted between 6.30pm and 8.30pm. The race will begin at 7.30pm.
The route will start on The Parade and proceed along High Street, Parliament Street, Irishtown, over Saint Francis Bridge, onto the CAS Link Road, Castlecomer New Road to Hebron Road Roundabout, and then return via John Street to Rose Inn Street, finishing at The Parade.

The city bus service will not operate along the race route between 7pm and 8.30pm on the evening of the event.
Kilkenny County Council is asking the public to expect delays, respect the event stewards, and observe all diversionary signage.
