Mount Juliet Estate, located in the heart of County Kilkenny, will host a special lunchtime recital in partnership with the Blackwater Valley Opera Festival on Sunday, May 4, 2025.
The open-air recital will take place in the historic walled gardens of the estate and will feature performances by distinguished artists from Ireland’s leading summer opera festival.
The event offers a refined preview of the 2025 festival season, bringing classical music to one of Kilkenny’s most scenic settings.

Guests attending the recital in Kilkenny will be offered complimentary canapés and refreshments during the performance.
Attendance is free, and no booking is required.
To further enhance the experience, attendees can pre-book an exclusive Opera Picnic — for €50 per person.
Picnics will be available for collection from the Manor House at Mount Juliet Estate from noon on the day of the recital.

All enquiries will be managed by the Manor House team, and advance payment is accepted.
