LeinsterRugby Academy Manager, Simon Broughton, has announced theLeinsterRugby ‘A’ team to take on Ulster 'A' at Clontarf FC tomorrow afternoon with former Kilkenny College student Charlie Tector captaining the side while fellow alumni Stephen Smyth and Adam Watchorn also part of the squad for the game.
The game kicks off at 3pm and will be available to watch live onLeinsterRugby Plus.Click here to watch.
Tector will captain the side from the centre where he will start alongside Hugh Cooney. Ruben Moloney, who recently earned his first senior cap away to Scarlets, has been named on the wing with Andrew Osborne on the opposite side.
Hugo McLaughlin has been given the nod at full-back, with Caspar Gabriel selected at out-half and Cormac Foley at scrum-half.
Stephen Smyth will pack down at hooker in between Gerry Cahir and Andrew Sparrow, with Billy Corrigan and Mahon Ronan filling out the second row.
Alex Soroka will start at number eight with David Walsh and Liam Molony on the flanks in a team that mixes experience with youth.
As per the rules of the new IRFU ‘A’ Championship, Broughton is allowed to select a wider squad of 25 players, with Gus McCarthy among those named on the bench for tomorrow's game.
