There was plenty to celebrate off the pitch as well as on recently for Evergreen FC, as one of the club’s top talents said “I do” in the picturesque hills of Tuscany.
Sam Johnston, a key player for Evergreen’s A team, swapped football boots in Kilkenny for wedding shoes in Tuscany as he married the love of his life, Grace, in what the club hailed as an incredible ceremony.
The happy couple tied the knot surrounded by family and friends in stunning Italian surrounds.

In a heartfelt tribute, Evergreen FC shared their joy on social media, describing Sam as “the luckiest man in the world” and extending their warmest congratulations to the newlyweds.
The post continued: “Huge congratulations to A team player Sam Johnston who was the luckiest man in the world this week, as he married his stunning wife Grace in Tuscany! We wish you both a wonderful life together.”
