Kilkenny manager Derek Lyng has offered a brief update on the progress of Eoin Cody, Shane Murphy and Richie Reid who all missed Sunday's comprehensive Leinster Championship win over Offaly in UPMC Nowlan Park due to injury. - HEAR MORE HERE
TJ Reid was the star of the show as he notched 2-9 on his first appearance in this year's championship campaign and with Mossy Keoghan and sub Adrian Mullen also finding the net, Derek Lyng's men were much too good for the Faithful County.
However, despite the win, the Kilkenny boss is adamant a strong panel is key to the county's success.
"What we've been working towards is having a really good squad and panel and having players to come on and impact the game," Lyng told the Kilkenny People Sport Podcast.
"We're going to pick up knocks like we have in the first few games, that's going to happen when you're playing every couple of weeks so we need a panel," he added.
