Kilkenny captain, Katie Power has told the Kilkenny People Sport Podcast the county's recent Leinster title success is 'huge' for the panel ahead of the All-Ireland series beginning next weekend.
Tommy Shefflin's team beat Wexford in emphatic fashion 0-20 to 1-6 despite an early second half fightback from the 'Yellow Bellies'. The win secured Kilkenny's fourth provincial title in a row.
The win appears to have put the Kittens in a strong position for the All-Ireland series after their comfortable opening round 3-26 to 0-9 win over Derry. Kilkenny now prepare to face Waterford in UPMC Nowlan Park this Saturday at 12.30pm in the championship.

"I think it's great. Any time there's a trophy on the line you go out 100% and try and win it, especially because this team is new," Power said.
"You can't take things for granted, this won't be around forever. It's important for us to build and thankfully we got over the line," she added.
