A visitor to the Marble City was left in a panic over the last few days after losing his bank card in a Kilkenny restaurant.

However, one good samaritan Seamus came to the rescue, using social media as a tool to reunite the bank card with its owner.

The man, a Dublin native, is the father of well-known broadcaster Sarah-Jayne Tobin who took to social media to express her thanks and relief.

"There are good people out there!," she said.
