Amateur Kilkenny rider Patrick Mullins, wearing black and amber, enjoyed his finest hour as he guided Nick Rockett to victory for his Goresbridge father Willie Mullins in the Randox Grand National at Aintree in April.
But despite reaching such great heights, Mullins hasn't forgotten his roots, celebrating the huge personal milestone with a night out in Kilkenny City's Matt the Millers.

Trained by Willie Mullins, the eight-year-old is owned by Stewart and the late Sadie Andrew (who was originally from Goresbridge, County Kilkenny).
