There was no shortage of games across the three Kilkenny hurling grades on Sunday as league & shield finals, relegation semi-finals and first round championship matches took place across the county.
O'Loughlin Gaels and Mullinavat took home the senior league and shield finals with wins over Thomastown and Glenmore respectively. The latter fixture went all the way to penalties with the defending shield champions just edging past their southern neighbours.
Meanwhile, amongst some of the rest of Sunday's highlights, Bennettsbridge edged past Tullaroan by two points to advance to the senior quarter-finals, while at intermediate, Tullogher Rosbercon minus Walter Walsh had seven points to spare in a note-worthy victory over Carrickshock and St Martin's fell into a relegation final against the Fenians after losing out to St Lachtain's of Freshford.
