Kilkenny area to receive huge makeover with council plans now on display

Kilkenny County Council has given notice of its intention to carry out works in the village of Templeorum in County Kilkenny.

Further traffic calming measures and pedestrian access on the L-1035 connecting the Community Hall and the School along with the improvement of pedestrian access between the Car Park and the Church/ School on the L-7549 are planned as part of the works.

The local authority also intend to improve the junction at the Church/ Car Park (Junction of L-5113 and L-7549).

Drawings and particulars of the proposals are available for inspection at the area office of Municipal District of Piltown, Ferrybank Shopping Centre in Ferrybank from 9am to 1pm and between 2pm and 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding weekends and bank holidays).

Submissions can be made by CLICKING HERE or in writing clearly marked 'Templeorum Village Improvement Scheme 2025' no later than 4pm on Friday, September 26.
