Members of An Garda Síochana's Roads Policing Unit in Kilkenny responded to reports locally of a vehicle with no tax, test or insurance while driving around Johnstown with 'impunity' in recent days.
"The owner who is a disqualified driver now has a date in court, vehicle seized," a garda spokesperson said.
The car seizure is one of a number of similar cases reported by Kilkenny gardaí in recent months with a number of local drivers failing tom comply with tax and/or insurance laws.
