More "joined up thinking" needed to address parking at Kilkenny hospital

Cathaoirleach of Kilkenny County Council and local Fine Gael councillor, Mary Hilda Cavanagh has claimed more "joined up thinking is needed" to provide more suitable parking at St Luke’s Hospital in Kilkenny.

"It astounds me when I’m passing the hospital that there’s no parking there because the carpark is jammed with cars," she said.

"Is there no way anything could be done to facilitate them (staff)?

"We’re lucky we have a few spaces below (County Hall). Is there no way we could have some joined up thinking for staff to be facilitated even if it’s only encouraging them to car pool because it’s obviously not happening."
