Today (October 6) is Tyre Safety Day, and amongst those raising awareness about the dangers of worn/sub-standard tyres are Kilkenny business TC Tyres.
Posting on social media, the business shared a picture of the aftermath of a tyre blowout (pictured above) on the M9 on Saturday, where vehicles travel speeds of up to 120km/h.

The message is simple: "Don't be a statistic." Get your tyres checked!
