Heavy rain forces fixture change in Nowlan Park this afternoon

A spell of heavy rain overnight has forced Kilkenny GAA to change their plans for today's action with the JJ Kavanagh Under 21 Roinn A Quarter-Final between Graigue Ballycallan and Tullogher Rosbercon now moving from Kilkenny HQ.

The last eight underage clash will take place in Tom Ryall Park at 1pm with the Michael Lyng Motors Intermediate Hurling Final between James Stephens and Danesfort now serving as a standalone fixture in the Park at 3pm.

With both of the camogie intermediate and senior finals already played on it yesterday and the rainfall from the Yelliow Warning, it looks a sensible decision in giving the Nowlan Park pitch as much time as possible to recover ahead of today's hurling decider.
