 
												David McWilliams is a special guest on a brand new show added to this year's Kilkenomics lineup
With just over a week to go Kilkenomics have added a number of brand new shows to this year’s lineup.
Now in its 15th year, Kilkenomics promises to be an incredible weekend of insights into economics, finance, geopolitics, AI, technology and more with brilliant contributors and razor sharp comedians.
n recent days a number of new shows have been added to the bill including FT UnHedged Podcast: Live at the Home Rule Club on Saturday, November 8 at 12:30.
The event is free but ticketed and audience members will join Katie Martin from the Financial Times for a live recording of the FT's Unhedged podcast with special guests from this year's Kilkenomics festival, where Katie will talk about bubbles, Trumponomics and everything in between with special guest, David McWilliams.
Another brand new show, To Grow or Not To Grow will take place at the Pembroke Hotel on November 8 at 8.30pm. The talk will explore Ireland’s energy future, which is now is at a crossroads. Demand keeps rising, targets are being missed, and the bills, economic, environmental, and human, are stacking up. Expect insight, argument and, maybe, some answers. In partnership with the Sustainable Energy Association of Ireland.
Another highlight of this year’s festival is Women’s Business: The History of Irish Women in Brewing, Bottling and Behind the Bar at the Smithwick's Experience on November 8 at 7.30pm. Join the panel who will attempt to demystify the role of Irish women in Ireland’s everyday economy prior to the 21st century. An expert panel will discuss the role of Irish women as business owners and entrepreneurs across the centuries. Guests will enjoy a taste of Smithwick’s, some delicious bites from La Rivista and live music by Monroe after the panel chat.
More than 50 shows will bring together some of the brightest minds in global thought and the sharpest voices in Irish and international comedy over the festival which runs from November 7 to 9.
