Yet more uninsured cars has been seized locally as Kilkenny gardaí continue to crack down on vehicles who fail to comply with the rules of the road.
Three uninsured vehicles and a trailer were seized during a garda checkpoint on Michael Street in Kilkenny City on Friday.
"A dirty day today but not too wet to curb the enthusiasm of Unit A members to do some checkpoints between calls," local gardaí posted to social media.
"Three uninsured vehicles and a trailer seized for further examination by our PSV man as weight plates etc were filed off," they added.
