Kilkenomics kicks off today with brilliant and bold programme

Kilkenomics is taking place from November 7 to 9

The excitement is building as Kilkenny braces itself for a weekend of world-class economists, comedians, and contrarians taking on money, power, and madness with wit and insight.

Now in its 15th year, Kilkenomics promises to be an incredible weekend of insights into economics, finance, geopolitics, AI, technology and more with brilliant contributors and razor sharp comedians.
Several shows have now sold out as the countdown is underway to one of Kilkenny’s favourite festivals

However a handful of brand new shows have been added to the bill in recent days in what looks set to be a fantastic weekend of thought-provoking discourse and lively comedy

In total more than 50 shows will bring together some of the brightest minds in global thought and the sharpest voices in Irish and international comedy over the festival which runs from November 7 to 9.

Comedians and commentators include Dylan Moran, Kevin McGahern, Karl Spain, Colm O’Regan, Aideen McQueen, Barry Murphy, Fiona Frawley, Kyla Scanlon, Jennifer Moroney-Ward, and festival co-director David McWilliams.
