BREAKING: Kilkenny GAA make decision on under-21 finals as heavy rain falls

UPMC Nowlan Park was due to stage the Roinn A and B finals

Kilkenny GAA have confirmed that the U21 A,B and D county finals will not take place this weekend due to unplayable pitches. 

"It’s hoped to schedule the A and B finals the weekend of the 29th/30th Nov & the D final the weekend of the 22nd/23rd Nov," a spokesperson for the Kilkenny County Board said.

Last weekend, Graigue Ballycallan and Dicksboro put in two very impressive performances to secure their under-21 A final spots.

Graigue Ballycallan dismissed James Stephens (the Village) on a 2-17 to 1-13 scoreline with goals in each half from Conor Walton and Ryan Corcoran aiding the 'Sky Blues'.

Meanwhile, in the other semi-final, Dicksboro withstood a strong Young Irelands start to qualify for their under-21 county final in a row with a 2-18 to 1-10 victory. - READ MORE HERE
