The 2025 PwC Camogie All-Stars Awards takes place in Croke Park this evening as the best players in their position get recognition for their efforts throughout the season.
The shortlist celebrates the standout performers from a thrilling All-Ireland Championship, which saw Galway edge Cork in a pulsating final.
There are three Kilkenny stars up for nomination with Laura Murphy (Defence), Laura Greene (Midfield) and Katie Power (Forward) all in contention to win an award after Tommy Shefflin's team suffered an extra-time All-Ireland Quarter-Final defeat to Tipperary.
33 year-old Power will be looking to collect a fifth individual gong to her collection in a season that she captained the Kilkenny side while Laura Murphy will be keen to add to her only other award in the year the Cats last won the All-Ireland title (2022).
In contrast, Murphy's club teammate Laura Greene has been nominated for the first time at midfield alongside Lorraine Bray (Waterford), Aoife Donohue (Galway), Karen Kennedy (Tipperary) and Ashling Thompson (Cork).
O’Duffy Cup winners Galway have 10 players on the list, with beaten finalists Cork represented by 11 nominees. Semi-finalists Waterford and Tipperary have six and five representatives respectively. Kilkenny have three players included, while Clare have received one nomination.
Alongside the All-Stars, the evening will also see the presentation of the PwC GPA Players’ Player of the Year Awards in the Senior, Intermediate and Premier Junior grades.
