Ahead of a huge outing with her club in today's All-Ireland Junior LGFA Final in Parnell Park agaist Cromane, Muckalee star Ellen Lawlor has been announced as the The Croke Park Hotel/LGFA Player of the Month for November.
The 21 year-old has been a standout performer for a Muckalee side that has been on an historic run during this club season and not content with becoming the first Kilkenny club to win an AIB Leinster Junior title in 21 years, Muckalee defeated St Kiernan’s from London and Galway’s Menlough Skehana to reach today's AIB All-Ireland Junior club final at Parnell Park.

Lawlor is also captain of the Kilkenny county team and has shone like a beacon throughout a memorable campaign including scoring a goal in the semi-final which took place on Muckalee's home ground.
The centre-forward will undoubtedly play a starring role in the All-Ireland decider but for now Kilkenny Gaelic Football and Lawlor herself can gloat in a rare piece of recognition for the county.
