The Tholsel Bar in Kilkenny
The widely acclaimed 'Tholsel Bar' on High Street in Kilkenny city centre has re-opened for business.
The iconic location is renowned as the 'Rugby Pub' of Kilkenny, with the property proving to be a popular meeting place for sports fans.
After a period of closure, planning permission was lodged with Kilkenny County Council in 2023 with works progressing swiftly in recent months.

"The lights are on again," a social media post read.
"We’re so happy to reopen The Tholsel Bar, a little icon back on Kilkenny High Street. Pull up a stool and make yourself at home."
